I can't stop being nocturnal, would it help if I moved to a different time zone?

I can't seem to get out of the nocturnal pattern. I just can't sleep at night and then I want to sleep during the day, but of course I have to go to work. So I load up on caffeine and don't sleep much during the week, then I just crash and sleep all day long on the weekends. Do you think if I moved to say, Europe, it would help? It's 4am where I am now but if I was in Europe it would be coming up on lunchtime. Or does it have more to do with the sunlight than the actual time?
