Sonic Adventure 2 Battle question!?

Hi, my brother and i are trying to make a Devil choa but are having trouble with what to do! We know you have to reincarnate twice but i have no idea how you do that, and also we have no idea how many animals there are and where to find them! any answers would be helpful!
