Eviction due to cat, your opinion?
I agree with kray0, you really are going above and beyond for this mistake and I really see no reason why your landlord would have a problem with your proposal. Not only are you taking responsibility for your bad decision and agreeing to leave and get rid of the cat right away, but also playing a pet deposit and continuing to pay rent through April. It sounds to me like you are pretty much agreeing to do whatever you can so that your roommate can stay there, I don't see how anyone could turn this offer down and yes it does sound realistic, perhaps even offering to do too much. You might be able to just let your landlord know your roommates situation and that he had nothing to do with the cat and then agree to git rid of the cat and leave. Good luck to you and your roommate though!
