What do you think of these new cliches for vampires?

I actually like the whole thing about being able to be in sunlight as long as they get a certain amount of time in total darkness. I would maybe suggest simplfying it a bit. Like maybe they just need a certain amount of time every twenty four hours instead of the longer forty hour thing which could get a bit complicated since it isn't really an even number as far as days go.
