My conclusion after researching Democrats and Republicans?

I did a little research (part of my English cl) on Democrats and Republicans, and which group listens to rock or pop, etc. I found out that Democrats tend to listen to the Backstreet Boys, Aqua, Spice Girls, 50 cent, etc, whereas Republicans tend to listen to Aerosmith, KISS, U2, etc. Why so much difference in music preference? This baffles me.
