Bonsai Question? Podocarpus Tree has small bugs at the base of tree?

Hi firstly i would call or phone the people who sold you the plant,tell what the trouble same as your question,see what they suggest and let them decide,bugs like you seen can eat the roots away and kill the plant,nip it in the bud now,All the best John
